Dear fellow writers,
I know many of us continue to ponder this question: What does the future hold for us in a world increasingly dominated by AI?
Conversations with fellow content writers persistently highlight a shared concern about making a living.
Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, many content writers who have honed their skills over the years find it challenging to secure the same volume of work.
There are also changing trends in hiring processes—many hiring companies/clients want writers to use AI, some are completely against using AI, some don’t agree to pay fairly because they have invested in tools, and the list of challenges can go on.
While AI tools like ChatGPT and Jasper have proven helpful, they have certain limitations. I know this from experience.
There is ample research, statistical data, and content on AI’s utility, impact, limits and future predictions.
If you are looking for a direct black-and-white answer, this piece is not for you, so you may pause and leave :).
You know your attention is worth $$$ wherever you might be on the web.
