As I write this, I cannot ignore the sound of birds chirping and looking at the mountains and lush green trees around me.
I can also not ignore the noise of the reception manager playing some random reel, probably for his own amusement.
I am sitting on a beautiful and almost comfortable wooden bench. Now that you have a sense of my present surroundings, I will begin to speak.
Like any life experience, such as going to school, doing household chores, working somewhere, raising a kid, experiencing heartbreak, etc., it offers lessons, and so does visiting another place and trying new things.
I’ve been fortunate to go here and there for quite a while — starting with my parents in childhood and then on my own for nearly ten years.
Every time I go somewhere, learning happens in the process. Some have stayed with me, while others have faded away like passing clouds.
In this piece, I simply wish to share what has helped me along the way and what I might do differently next time.
